The Tegaru Professionals Network is a network of professionals, educators, leaders, and dedicated community members aspiring to make a positive impact on the growth and development of young Tigrayans throughout North America.
Our Mission
To create a movement that propels the idea of building a national community of young Tigrayans who will be one another’s greatest assets in furthering the interest of diaspora Tigrayans in the areas of education, economic success, and strong community bonds.
We strive to build upon the foundational principle that it takes a village to create a large, strong, sustainable network of self-aware, well-equipped, young grassroots leaders in Tigrayan communities across North America.
It takes a village to raise a child is an African proverb that means that an entire community of people must interact with children for those children to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment.
